In their home store they have beautiful products that would work in any room. Look at my top choices for today below...

Hallow's Eve

As Halloween approaches and my husband gets excited about a live edition of Ghost Adventures, I thought I would blog about something not scary. I found a beautiful desk clock at Neiman, gorgeous bedding at Neiman and some really cool wall art at Neiman. Can you tell where my focus is today??? I love dreaming of a simple life surrounded by beauty. Neiman Marcus lets me escape into that world for a very short while. Then back to reality. Enjoy.

Pillowzzzz!

I have been thinking a lot about pillows lately and how much I love them and how my husband abhors them. (This is typically what happens). A woman will buy 9 pillows to specifically place on her bed to make it look like the one she saw in the Pottery Barn catalog. The husband will **sigh** and say "what's with all the pillows, dear?" Well, doesn't he know that they pillows make the bed look absolutely scrumptious?? I don't know if guys are able to take note of a scrumptious bed. But, at least I'm lucky, that I have a husband that will indulge me. Daniel (my hubby) are moving into a new apartment in a few weeks, and we will be incorporating his "bachelor couch" into our decor. So, needless to say, I have been entertaining the idea of utilizing pillows to make the couch seem more "us". Here are some I have had my eye on....what do you think?? BTW, his couch is a sage green color. It's actually quite nice.

Boo-Tiful!

I love Haus Interior. Their "quirky" style is exactly what every home should enjoy at least in part. Here are a few things to drool over...

Easy Design

Interior Design is easy when you think about it. Pick the colors you like and just choose pieces that match with that color palette. Design is an accumulation of beautiful things, it is not an overnight occurrence. Look through magazines to find "inspiration rooms" and take one or two elements of that room and implement them into your home. If you like an idea in a living room you can still use that same idea in a bedroom. You don't have to stick with exactly what was done in the magazine or catalog where you found your vision. Also, design is what you think it is, not what the world thinks it is. Just like art. What you find to be striking, someone else may not. But, that is OK! No one has to like your design but you. So, don't set out to please someone else, please your own eye. Here are some inspiring photos to help you get started....enjoy!

Oh! It's Wet Outside....again

For the full length story go to www.agnesandco.blogspot.com

Well, Agnes and I can't go to the dog park today. It is cooler outside and rainy. Yesterday we went to the dog park in the evening, and Agnes actually ran after another dog to play with them. It shocked me!! I think it shocked her too. She was overcome by the pent up "play energy" of 5 years. I think she finally said to herself "oh, what the hell". I was super proud of my little bundle of black joy. We also met a charming little German Shepherd Puppy named Jenna. She stole our hearts within seconds. Welcome to Archer Road little Jenna.

I have been wrestling with some physical problems over the last 5 weeks, and after my doctor's appointment tomorrow, I should know more about what lies beneath. I shall keep you posted my dears.

Well, I have had little communication with my mother over the last 6-7 months. I'm so saddened by her behaviour. She has truly changed into another person, and I don't recognize her anymore. I NEVER thought I would live my life without my mother. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to know the woman she was, and I also grieve that my children will not know her. I pray for her and for her recovery.

Well, on a lighter note. I found these adorable items this week, and I wanted to share them with you. Take care, and God bless.

Dog Park and Rainy Afternoons

Agnes and I took our daily romp to the Archer Road Dog Park at 2pm today instead of 7pm. She enjoyed the different crowd of pups that we normally don't see. She was the highlight of one puffed up Shih Tzu who had the hots for her. He didn't seem to want to let her go. He followed her around like a sick puppy the entire time, and he got snapped at by my little girl who was taking up for herself. YAY! Agnes, way to go....you tell him.

We have enjoyed our daily strolls in the park together. She enjoys the throwing of the ball, and I enjoy the company of dear friends.

Some things I am loving right now are below. Enjoy!
